We use light creatively. The direction of sunlight on your face can transform you. Sadly, not all wedding photographers know this! Compare these two pictures: The smaller shot was taken in a 'snap-happy' way, facing the sun, causing black shadows under the eyes and chin. The larger photo shows the backlighting technique which gives shine on the hair and no shadows on the face.

Clients love our beautiful handmade albums which come in ivory or black suede, gold or silver with your names and wedding date engraved on the cover. Our prices are good value and are at the mid to upper end of the market. They include all the pictures.

We give a personal service - you will only be photographed by Jane or John Legate - no other photographers are used. We will tell you who will be doing your wedding and in fourteen years, we have never let a client down or had to change the photographer, once agreed.

We use a top lab to produce our prints and as we are a major client, they collect and deliver to us, avoiding postal problems.

We work very quickly to produce spontaneous pictures, and to avoid your guests waiting around.

Only our own clients have access to our advice handout which includes our recommended wedding suppliers. We know the most wonderful florists, imaginative and excellent value cake makers, a super caterer, very individual stationers, unusual entertainers ...... and more!

We both have the confidence, experience and personal skills to deal with the many different sorts of people and situations that we meet at weddings in the right sort of way. We both have an air of calm which clients seem to find reassuring!

Between us, we have photographed over 1,000 weddings at all times of year and in all weathers!

We have worked at many different locations, including Claridges, the Ritz, the Landmark, the Lanesborough, the Dorchester ,Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Palace of Westminster etc as well as of course country churches, marquee weddings and civil weddings in hotels.

We both have qualifications and management experience, which are reflected in our efficient business.

We print black lines and white borders around our black and white prints. This defines the picture, giving it much more impact.
